Terms of use

KodiGuard is software for recording business transactions, preparing tax workings and tracking Tanzanian filing deadlines. It is an independent product. It is not affiliated with or approved by the Tanzania Revenue Authority, it is not an accounting firm, and it does not replace professional review. See the tax disclaimer.

You must give accurate registration details and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by people you invite to your business. Tell us immediately at support@kodiguard.co.tz if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

You own the records, documents and information you upload. You grant us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of what you enter, and for anything you or your advisers file with TRA.

• Do not use the service for unlawful purposes, including tax evasion or falsifying records.
• Do not upload malicious files or attempt to break, probe or overload the service.
• Do not resell, copy or reverse engineer the service without our written permission.
• Do not upload personal data of other people without a lawful basis for doing so.

Free and Pro plans are described on the pricing page. Fees, renewal, cancellation and refunds are governed by our payment, cancellation and refund policy. Prices are in Tanzanian shillings and include any taxes stated at checkout.

We work to keep the service available, but it is provided on an “as available” basis and may be interrupted for maintenance or events beyond our control. We may add, change or withdraw features. If a change materially reduces a paid feature, we will tell account owners by email.

To the maximum extent permitted by Tanzanian law, KodiGuard Tanzania Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or tax penalties, interest or assessments arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid in that period. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or is used unlawfully. On closure you may export your records for at least thirty days before deletion, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and the courts of Tanzania have jurisdiction over any dispute.
